Selcuk Trip
Our school's project team took a trip to Selçuk on April 13th.
Through visits to the House of the Virgin Mary, the Ephesus Archaeological Museum, the Basilica of St. John, and the İsa Bey Mosque, our students had the opportunity to see, compare, and evaluate different faiths and civilizations they discussed in class. Enriched by the valuable academic contributions of Dr. Fatih Yıldırım, this trip was not just a visit for our students; it transformed into a true learning experience that encouraged questioning, connecting, and interpreting. Through photography conducted as part of a TÜBİTAK project, our students went beyond simply observing and became part of a productive process. Thanks to this trip, the lesson moved beyond the classroom; learning gained strength through direct experience.
