Tomorrow at Science Science Fair
Science and Sustainability Project by Students from Izmir Private Saint-Joseph French High School
Students from the Horizons Vert Club of Izmir Private Saint-Joseph French High School successfully represented their school at the “Demain en Science” science fair held at Istanbul Saint Michel High School with their Smart Hydroponics Project, which they developed using Arduino and data analysis.
The project, developed by students, offers a sustainable production model that can instantly monitor the water and environmental conditions needed by plants thanks to sensors, data analysis, and intelligent automation systems. Combining technology and environmental awareness, this work presents innovative solutions for water conservation, sustainable agriculture, and efficient production.
Throughout the science fair, our students presented their projects to visitors, highlighting the importance of sustainable production for our future. They also successfully reflected their international and multilingual education vision by exchanging scientific ideas in French with students from various Francophone schools.
As Izmir Private Saint-Joseph French High School, we congratulate our students who have developed productive projects in the fields of science, technology, environmental awareness, and sustainability, and wish them continued success.
