Development Level
Education at Izmir Private Saint-Joseph French High School is based on a holistic approach that aims to develop students' academic knowledge, critical thinking skills, linguistic and methodological abilities, and to cultivate them as individuals open to the world in line with humanist values, gaining cultural openness within an international perspective. The pedagogical program, based on the curriculum of the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey, is enriched by the deep-rooted French educational tradition, structured around different educational paths in three main levels.
Development Level
The Development Stage covers Grades 9 and 10 and marks the period when students officially begin their high school education.
During this period, students develop and reinforce their knowledge in core academic disciplines. They also acquire the skills necessary for success: reasoning, critical thinking, and developing autonomy in their study processes.
This level also places significant emphasis on students' social and cultural development. The projects offered enrich students' educational journey; they not only expand their academic knowledge but also help them develop essential skills necessary for high school life.
During this process, students learn to get to know themselves better, discover their interests, and become open, conscious, and responsible individuals within the society and world they live in.
