Preparation Stage
Education at Izmir Private Saint-Joseph French High School is based on a holistic approach that aims to develop students' academic knowledge, critical thinking skills, linguistic and methodological abilities, and to cultivate them as individuals open to the world in line with humanist values, gaining cultural openness within an international perspective. The pedagogical program, based on the curriculum of the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey, is enriched by the deep-rooted French educational tradition, structured around different educational paths in three main levels.
Preparation Stage
The main goal of the preparatory stage is for students to learn a new language and a new culture, while also confidently adapting to a new school environment.
During this process, students reach a level of French proficiency that will allow them to follow French-language classes throughout their education at Saint-Joseph, while also reinforcing their knowledge in core subjects such as mathematics, English, Turkish, and science.
Through various projects offered specifically for this level, students; future, culture and art, citizenship and well-being They explore different learning pathways that support their development in various fields. Thus, students receive a holistic education while also having the opportunity to develop their identities, gain a sense of belonging to Saint-Joseph, become acquainted with Francophone culture, and adapt to high school life.
