School Life Organization

While academic achievement is important at our school, students' well-being, social development, and adaptation to school life are equally important.

At the heart of this educational approach are teachers. Teachers support students throughout their academic and personal development, benefiting from the assistance of the School Life Unit (Vie scolaire) and the Guidance Service. Accordingly, the School Life Unit and the Guidance Service work together as two complementary structures to support the holistic development of students.

The duties of the school life unit and the guidance service do not replace the pedagogical and educational responsibilities of teachers; on the contrary, they support and complement these responsibilities. The primary responsibility for establishing and maintaining the educational framework rests with the teacher.

Situations that arise in the classroom are primarily addressed by the teacher within the framework of the pedagogical relationship. The teacher encourages dialogue and supports students in taking responsibility.

If the situation goes beyond the pedagogical framework or requires special support, the teacher can contact the School Life Unit regarding issues related to the order and climate of school life, and the Guidance Service for situations requiring psychological or social support. These activities are carried out with the knowledge of the school administration and within the framework of general coordination within the institution.

This collaboration allows for coordinated support tailored to students' needs, while preserving the teacher's central role in the educational process.
