jaws out of all cats. The jaguar’s powerful bite many other names such as: puma, mountain lion,
allows it to pierce the carapaces of turtles and catamount and surprisingly panther. The animal
tortoises, and to employ an unusual killing associated with the name “panther” isn’t even a
method: it bites directly through the skull of it’s panther. Despite their large builds they are not
prey. Their name translates to “he who kills with considered big cats which means to show that
one leap”. They’re also the best swimmers of big being a “big” cat doesn’t make you a “big cat”.

These are the five members sharing the Panthera Güneş Parıldar
genus which makes them all panthers. This means
that any one of these panthers being black would
make it a black panther.
The other subfamily (apart from Panthera) of
Pantherinae is Neofelis (clouded leopards) . The
cloded leopard isn’t an actual leopard. Clouded
leopards neither purr nor roar and are considered
the bridge between big cats and not big cats.
Felidae is the family of mammals referred to as
cats. A member of this family is also called a
felid. Today, the living Felidae are divided into
two subfamilies: the Pantherinae and Felinae
(felines). Pantherinae includes five Panthera -as
aformentioned- and two Neofelis species, while
Felinae includes the other 34 species.
The distinction between a panther and a feline is
defined by a modified bone in the throat called
the Hyoid that gives the cat the ability to roar. So
if it roars it’s a big cat and if it purrs it’s a “little”
cat… Right? No -the big cat that isn’t actually a
leopard- the snow leopard also can’t roar!
